Privacy

This page explains what information we collect when you ask for a quote, book a flight or have an account with us, why we need it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.
Data controller
Anona AS (org. no. 927 941 058), Oslo, Norway, is responsible for processing your personal data. Questions about privacy can be sent to sales@anonajets.no or asked by phone on +47 970 52 409.
What we process
- Requests and quotes
- Name, email, phone, the trip you want (route, dates, number of passengers, baggage and wishes), messages you send us, and which quote you choose or decline.
- Account
- Name, email, phone, language, how you prefer to be contacted, your home and aircraft preferences if you added them, whether you agreed to marketing, and when you last signed in. Your password is handled by our sign-in service, and we never see it. If your broker created the account for you, we entered the name, email address and phone number you gave us.
- Initiatives
- Registrations for initiatives (number of travellers, phone and message). When you are signed in and open an initiative, we record that you viewed it, how many times and when, so we can follow up with interested customers.
- Contract and booking
- The details in the contract, your signature with name, time, IP address and browser (as a record of the signing), and the booking that follows.
- Passenger list
- For each passenger: name, date of birth, gender, nationality and travel document (type, number, issuing country and expiry). The operator and the authorities require this to carry out the flight. If you scan your passport or ID card, the photo is read on your device. It is not sent to us and not stored.
- Frequent flyers passport
- When you are signed in, you can choose to save travellers to your profile (the same details as in the passenger list), so you can fill them in next time. Only you and your broker at Anona Jets can see them, so the broker can fill in the passenger list for you when you book a trip. You can change or delete them at any time under Frequent flyers passport.
- Security
- One-time codes are only stored as an unreadable hash. IP addresses are used briefly to stop misuse, such as too many attempts in a short time.
Why, and on what basis
We use the information to answer your request, prepare the quote and contract, carry out the flight and keep in touch with you along the way. The basis is our contract with you, or steps you asked for before entering into one (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
We also process passenger information and accounting records because the law requires it, including rules on passenger information and the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act (Article 6(1)(c)).
The signing log, security measures and the record of who viewed an initiative are based on our legitimate interest in documenting agreements, protecting the service and following up with customers (Article 6(1)(f)).
We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to them. You can withdraw your consent at any time (Article 6(1)(a)).
We keep saved travellers because you ask us to (consent, Article 6(1)(a)). You withdraw consent by deleting them.
Who we share it with
The airline (operator) that performs the flight receives what it needs to do so, including the passenger list. The same applies to handling agents at the airports and authorities that require passenger information.
When we ask operators for price and availability before you have chosen, we only send the trip — never your name or contact details.
We also use providers who process data on our behalf, for example to run the website, store data and send email. They have data processing agreements with us and may only use the data to provide their service. When we draft quote texts with AI, we use our cloud provider, and only the journey and the aircraft alternatives are sent — not your name, contact details or the prices.
We never sell personal data.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers, and operators on trips outside Europe, may process data outside the EEA. We make sure such transfers have a lawful basis, for example the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or that they are necessary to carry out the trip you booked.
How long we keep it
Requests and quotes that do not lead to a booking are kept as long as needed to follow up, and then deleted.
Contracts, bookings and accounting records are kept as long as the Bookkeeping Act requires.
Passenger information is kept to carry out the trip, and deleted when it is no longer needed after the trip. After the trip the passenger list is no longer available through the link.
Saved travellers stay on your profile until you delete them, or until the account is deleted.
Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive information you have given us in a common format.
Contact us at sales@anonajets.no and we will reply within 30 days. If you believe we process your information unlawfully, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no).
